Copyright notices

If you believe something on BeastWatch infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent. Notices are handled as set out in section 512 of the U.S. Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512). What we do with content and accounts in general is in our Terms of Service.

Designated agent

BeastWatch Corp. is listed in the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory, registration number DMCA-1084394.

What a notice must include

A notice is complete only if it contains all of these (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)(A)):

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or of a person authorized to act for the owner.
2. A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
3. A description of the material you say infringes, and enough information, such as a link to it, for us to find it.
4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Please send notices by email to the address above, or by post. A notice that leaves these out may not be acted on.
