If BeastWatch shows a nude or sexual picture or video of you that you did not agree to share, you can ask us to remove it. This includes a fake made with AI. This page explains how to ask and what we do next.
The process follows the notice-and-removal rules of the US TAKE IT DOWN Act (Public Law 119-12, Section 3). Anyone can use it, wherever they live.
If you are in danger right now, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States, 112 in the European Union). BeastWatch cannot send help.
If the image shows someone under 18, do not send it to us, and do not save or share it. Read If the image shows someone under 18 first.
The person shown in the image, or someone allowed to act for them: a parent or guardian of a child, or someone the person shown has asked to act for them, such as a lawyer.
Email support@beastwatch.app with the subject line Take It Down request.
Write the request in the email. It needs these four things:
If you have a BeastWatch account, you can also tap Report on what shows the image, as our Terms explain: a sighting report, a post, a Trail Cam video, a news story, a record, a message, a photo on a review, or the account whose profile picture or banner it is. Choose "Nudity or sexual content". A report alone does not give us the four things above, so please send the email as well.
We can remove only what is on BeastWatch. For copies on other sites, use those sites' own processes, or the services listed under Where to get help. What you send us is handled under our Privacy Policy.
Do not send the image to us, and do not save or share it. If you report it to NCMEC, follow NCMEC's own instructions. Sharing it any other way can itself be a crime, even when you mean to help. Tell us only where it is: a link, or the handle of the account that posted it.
We handle it as child sexual abuse material. We take it off BeastWatch as soon as we learn where it is, keep the records the law asks us to keep, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline.
You can also report it to NCMEC yourself at report.cybertip.org or by calling 1-800-843-5678.
This page explains how BeastWatch handles these requests. It is not legal advice. For advice about your own situation, talk to a lawyer or a support service where you live.
